International Visitors

The University frequently hosts visiting dignatories from the International arena, building relationships across all aspects of the university’s activities – teaching and learning; research and research training; partnerships; management and resources as well as engaging with the broader international community.

Newcastle Welcomes International Students

New international students took the opportunity to meet Lord Mayor Cr John Tate last month at a special function in City Hall. 

A warm welcome to the city of Newcastle from the Lord Mayor was followed by an introduction to international study by Vice Chancellor Nicolas Saunders.  Megan James concluded the formal program with an encouraging word for students to maximise their international study experience by getting involved in extra-curricular activities. 

Fine food and a photo with key people made the event an all round success.
