1) Sessional Teaching Position in Advanced Computer Aided Engineering and Manufacturing
This course content includes:1. Exposure to Computation Fluid Dynamics Software and Modelling
2. Advanced solids modelling, assemblies, and surface modelling.
3. Essentials of Numerical Control.
4. Selected topics from FEA
Selection Criteria:
1. PhD and/or Masters degree in the relevant disciplines and with relevant professional experience2. Proven track record of effective undergraduate teaching in the relevant fields
3. Experience in curriculum development and program coordination
4. Ability to engage with students
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

2) Full Time Teaching Position in Occupational Health and Safety
This position is offered on an initial two year full-time fixed term basis and staff will be based at Singapore Campus.Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Teaching
- Undertake teaching and course coordination in the undergraduate and post graduate programs in Environmental & Occupational Health & Safety (EOHS)
- Undertake teaching and course coordination of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology, Ergonomics and Research Methods in EOHS specifically
- Take an active role in the development of the curriculum for the undergraduate and post graduate programs in EOHS
- Supervise students in all aspects of learning the practical aspects of EOHS
- Consult and collaborate in the area of professional practice
Research
- Collaborate in establishing research programs that can attract external funding
- Contribute to research in the field of EOHS through peer reviewed publication
- Supervise research higher degree students
Administration
- Assist in delivering a range of administrative functions including course coordination
- Contribute to the decision-making process and serve on relevant University committees and professional bodies
Selection Criteria:
Essential- A degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene or closely related field
- Earned PhD in a relevant field
- Demonstrated experience in teaching at a tertiary level together with evidence of ability to engage with innovative teaching methods
- Eligible for membership of appropriate Occupational Health and/or Workplace Safety professional groups in Singapore
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
- Successful supervision of research higher degree students
- Contribution to research including successful external grant applications and peer-reviewed publications
- Evidence of active participation within Occupational Health & Safety or closely related field
