Exercise Sports Science, and Psychology Building
Funded by the Australian Government's Capital Development program and the University, the building will provide world-class specialist teaching facilities for students and academic staff and an on-campus gym facility.
What’s happening?
The $6.3 million building houses:
- three specialist teaching spaces and laboratories for the exercise and sport program
- specialist spaces for psychology to support research and group work
- three general purpose classrooms for use by other disciplines on campus
- on-campus fitness and exercise facility for students and staff
When is the building officially open?
Teaching and research activities commenced in the building in Semester 2, 2011. The Exercise Sports Science, and Psychology building will be officially opened on Wednesday 16th November, 2011 by Ms Deborah O'Neill, Federal Member for Robertson.
