Degrees offered at the Central Coast campus

There are 16 single undergraduate degrees and two combined degrees to choose from. Four of these are only offered at the University of Newcastle's Central Coast campus.

Bachelor of Arts - Majors are creative and performing arts, English, history, politics and international affairs, psychology studies, and sociology and anthropology.

Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science - Complete two degrees at once. Areas of study are as listed for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science.

Bachelor of Business - Majors are marketing, human resource management, management or tourism.

Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Commerce - Complete two degrees at once. Areas of study are as listed for  Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Commerce.

Bachelor of Commerce - Major available in accounting.

Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management - Majors are marine science and sustainability.

Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science - Study the use of science to enhance sport performance and the important relationship between exercise and health. This degree is only available at the Central Coast campus.

Bachelor of Food Science and Human Nutrition - Study food and nutrition including the analysis and development of plant and animal food products. This degree is only available at the Central Coast campus.

Bachelor of Information Technology - There are three majors: business information, communication and technology (ICT); digital media and entertainment; or software development and applications.

Bachelor of Nursing - Study the foundations of nursing, human bioscience, mental health nursing and aged care.

Bachelor of Oral Health - Study human bioscience and anatomy, communication, health promotion, oral pathology, periodontolgy, and radiography. This degree is only available at the Central Coast campus.

Bachelor of Podiatry - Study anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, podiatric theory and clinical practice. This degree is only available at the Central Coast campus.

Bachelor of Psychology - Study psychology, biology, statistics, and philosophy.

Bachelor of Science - Study biological sciences, chemistry, earth sciences, geography and environmental studies, marine science, mathematics, photonics, physics, psychology, statistics and sustainable resource management.

Bachelor of Social Science - Majors are community welfare and human services, historical studies, industrial relations and human resource management, politics and policy, psychology studies, and sociology and anthropology.

Bachelor of Teaching(Primary)/Bachelor of Arts - Prepares you to teach Kindergarten to Year 6 in primary schools.

Bachelor of Teaching(Secondary)/Bachelor of Arts - Prepares you to teach English and history or drama to Year 7 to 12 high school students.

Bachelor of Teaching(Primary)/Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies - Employment opportunities exist in long day-care centres, preschools and primary schools(Kindergarten to Year 6).
